some relief for my constipatated little man

I have a billy that is about 5 1/2 months old who is constipated. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or suggestions as to how to relieve my poor little man?

box of shredded wheat cereal? one or two does it for my little dog

Thank you. Someone else said yogurt so I am gonna try that for a couple days and see if that helps. Thank you again for your input.
