Some of the black birds are developing a red "collar" around their necks A couple even have some gold pencilling in their body feathers. Any new guesses? Not the best pic I know, Sorry! Couldn't get her to stay still for anything!

ETA OOPs! forgot to mention double or V combs,very slow coming in also
Realized I cut her head off in photo sorry will do better next time! I'll put some fresh corn down for her... She LOVES it!

I would guess it's a Golden Laced Wyandotte.

Thanks Kim! I have been wondering if maybe she was GL Wyandotte. And see here you convince me with the pic you found The combs are an exact match! What has really been throwing me off, and if you look closely in my pic you can see them, are the white feathers lower down on the front of her breast. So basically She has black Gold and white going on...... But I have to agree she is almost a carbon copy of the pic you posted! I'm happy with that by all means!


ETA Do you know the age of the one in that pic Kim? Mine is 5 weeks on Friday.

No, I don't know the age of the one in the pic. I simply googled "Golden Laced Wyandottes" in the Image section and saw this one. I will go see if I can find out what age it was.. I'll be back in a second..
