Ok although I have owned 3 turkeys, I started out with two BBW's(which have since passed) - at the time I did not know they would not make good pets. Now I have a Narragansett tom. Love him. He's a few years old. He lives with my now reduced flock :( of two chickens. I am thinking of getting either some more bantam chickens or another turkey. :) How big of a cage do I need if I want to add another turkey? Would it be best to add a hen or another tom? If I added a hen, would I be better off with two? I'm so torn.

I love my turkey, he is so cool.

You could keep two turkeys alive in a 4X8 cage, but they would be a lot happier in a 10x30 ft run, and would be even happier in a 50x50 ft fence, and even happier in a 100 ft x 200 ft fenced pasture with a few trees in it.

How happy do you like your turkeys?
