Pictures may be helpful. A crop (or gullet) should be empty in the early morning before they have eaten or had anything to drink. How does it feel--hard, doughy, or puffy soft?

The crop (it feels like a bag under their skin on the right on their breast below the neck) is were the food they swallow while gets ground up before going to the stomach.

Well that can be a sign of an impacted crop. can you tell us how old she is, what you feed, and if you have granite grit available. Is she drinking water? You could try offering her a tsp of chilled coconut oil cut into small peckable pieces. Then massage her crop downward several times a day. Then check it again in the morning before she eats or drinks, to see if it empties. I would only feed soft mushy foods today, such as egg, yogurt, or mushy chicken feed, but no whole grains or seeds.

Six weeks old....med starter, some mealworms...few....they are free range, so could have gotten anything. Shewed them out of the dropped wild bird seed yesterday.

Update. She has come out of whatever was ailing her. She is still a bit woosy on her feet at times, but she just sits down and rests and then she's o.k. again.

Have you checked her crop early in the morning to see if it has emptied? I’m glad that she is doing better. How old is she? Is she having any runny droppings? Coccidiosis can be a problem when they are young. Corid is the treatment given in water for 5-7 days.
