someone broke into my pen and killed my birds.

someone broke into my quail pen sometime today while i was out. they stole (or let out) two of my pet hens, one hen and one roo. and then killed another hen by standing on her.

im down to 8, mostly males and none of them laying age.

im so f*kn upset and angry.

If you have your quail legally on your property, you really need to call the police.

oh ive reported it to the police. and ive put up STOLEN flyers all over my town (i live in a VERY small town). problem is, how did they know where they were in my yard if they hadnt already been in there once before??? that freaks the living hell out of me.

Put up game cameras. Catch them if they come back.

now ive got a ratio issue. i have to go out and get more females and cull off some of the males. out of the 8 i have left, it looks like 4 are male, 2 are female and one tux and one tibetian that i cant sex. so im going to have problems there soon. URGHHHHHH.

ive already ordered some motion sensored cameras, it was the first thing i did last night after i discovered them missing.
