someone broke into my pen and killed my birds.

My sincerest and utmost apologies! :hugs

I had someone (I know who, and he knows better than to come into my yard when I'm around...) get "revenge" for a misunderstanding by breaking mason jars in my coop and run for a week. Luckily, my chickens didn't swallow any. That was a few months back, I hope your investigating leads to a good end!

What immature sickos..

Whoever did that to you was awful, MamaDoodle!

Very sorry to hear about your quails, Sammit. I know what it's like

Once our neighbours let their Rottweiler out and he killed 12 of my 14 rabbits. It was very upsetting but I'm glad we didn't retaliate, it could have led to further problems.

Did they apologize and come get him or was it more intentional? :/

Quote: We drove the dog from our yard. They never apologised or even spoke to us but I don't see how they could've missed the screams of rabbits.

I hope it wasn't intentional. The dog kept coming back with his wolfhound friends. They kept trying to get at the remaining rabbits and almost got our cat, and we decided that we had the right to finish the brute off next time he came. We never got the chance, however.

I'd have probably come to the same conclusion. Those sound like awful neighbors, I'm glad you don't have to deal with that anymore, for whatever the reason. :hugs
