I have been outside with them all day. Gave my number to LSH. Waiting on call. I have them in my back yard at the moment.

Domesticated goslings at that age and even domestic geese CAN NOT fend for themselves in the wild. Just because they are following the ducks around does Not mean those ducks are taking care of them. Ducks and geese, although waterfowl, are not any where near being the same. The ducks may not mind them following them and you can bet they still wont mind if something kills one. They do not have all their feathers yet and if it rains, even in the warmest climates, can get hypothermia and Die. They cannot fly either, unlike wild geese, so they can not get away from predators. Basically if you leave this as a "watch and see" type situation you are serving these babies on a silver plater to any predator or hungry dog. They need picked up. Please allow one of these kind members that offered to give them a home to come and get them. Leaving them there is no better than the person who dropped them.
I don't think anyone dislikes you, we are concerned for these goslings, you stay on here enough and hear the sad stories about Dogs and other animals killing goslings and geese waterfowl in general and our hearts just break and that's all it was here just hoping if you couldn't make the commitment to keep them in a secure place than they needed to have a good home. Thank you so much for doing this. Please let us know how it goes for them. To me you are a hero.I'm sorry you feel that way about me and what I might do. I understand their situation. I was debating buying feed and making some sort of shelter, until I checked the board this afternoon. I gave my number to LSH to coordinate getting them picked up.
I'm sorry you feel that way about me and what I might do. I'm not some kid. I'm 66 and have raised animals my whole life, from Pigeons, chickens, ducks, ferrets, skunks cats and dogs, It cost me a lot to bring my dog home with me from Germany. I understand their situation. I was debating buying feed and making some sort of shelter, until I checked the board this afternoon. I gave my number to LSH to coordinate getting them picked up. Sorry for the rant, but you came across very badly to me.
I'm glad they found you jmactenn, and that you've helped them along. Sorry that someone was careless enough to dump them, that is why I hate the Easter poultry sales!
agree 100% I don't even go to TSC when they have chick days. And rabbit sales also.
I live in a new subdivision and the HOA rules won't let me have them. I really would love to keep them, they are so adorable. But got to do what's best .
