So big momma has this marking on her, from what I’ve read it’s not good news. She’s still eating, pooing and moving as normal.

It almost looks like a wound from fighting/pecking? Possibly frostbite if it's super cold where you are? Is she a "lower" hen in the group?

She is the gaffer of all the hens, it turned up overnight and I thought it looked like a wound, she’s happy in herself
