Worst part is according to the ordinance she only needs 5, or a permit. Town halls are infamous for misinformation where I used to live. Have to look everything up on your own than bring it into town hall and explain what you need while showing the ordinance, may seem cocky but it gets things doneHi There.
Sorry you are going through this ordeal. What i do not understand is when you first applied to town hall, that lady although, she told you that you need 10 acres, to
allow chickens, she also told you, or gave you the okay, to have them, as long as there
are no complaints.??? Which she did not help at all, as if she had told you, from the
start, you need 10 acres then you probably would not have bought any. So she is in the wrong, as for that neighbour, go and see him, and ask him, why he is acting towards you this way. especially when you could have rang the police on him, for staring through your window. You already pulled him up on it, and he shut up. So tell him again, that now
he is making you get rid of keeping your chickens, you will defo take action on him, as
looking through your window, coming out the bath. ( The perv.) Tell him, if my chickens go i will make sure you will be going as well. This guy seems a problem on his own, if
you ask me. lol I know you have not much time, and are worried sick, but show him,
you mean business. Plus that lady also gave you the thumbs up, for getting some.
I wonder if he has annoyed anyone else around there. Ask around and like others have
told you, get a petition going, as you have 2 things already going for you. I know you
probably do not need the stress ect. But at least you have tried your best, especially when it is only him, who is complaining. Do not forget, you also have your friend as witness, that time too. I really wish you good luck and hope you will find a way, to
be able to keep them. Your town needs shot of him, not your beautiful chickens. lol
