Someone is using one of my pics on ebay without my concent :(

Extremely untrue. I've been slowly gathering pictures to illustrate a book I wrote for my daughter, and I promise you that just publishing it on the internet doesn't mean you relinquish rights to it. (I've been very careful to ask permission for all the photos - many of them from BYC). Publishing them does mean that sometimes it's hard to know someone is using it. If the image is linked to a place under your control, myself, I'd change it to a picture of a sick, starved, abandoned goose.

That actually isn't true...

If you post a picture on the internet, it belongs to everyone.

On the other hand... it IS sort of a backhanded compliment...
Not right, but I like silver linings :)

Yeah, report it to Ebay. Especially because your image is being used for monetary gain, you shouldn't have any issues getting it removed.

Is the bird in the pic a male or female? How old? Im curious...its a beautiful bird! Do you have any more pics of your birds? I am very interested!

Thats what Im sending...Ill see what this person has to say to that...

At least he's honest about it....

I would be honest with him as well.
Let him know that it is "Your Photo" & that he needs
Your permission to use it. If You decide to let him
it is your decision. You might require him to acknowledge
who's it is to continue using it. Ask him how he came by it.
You might also let him know you reported it to ebay....
Ebay has a catalog of photos that people can use, as well & I
think they are other sellers' pics.

This topic came up in the peafowl section a few weeks
ago. The person using the photo apologized.

Now whatcha gonna do?
