Someone killed my silkie chick.

Wow talking about no respect for animals! Have you talked to their parents about it?

Yep. I have told them outright they are not allowed on my property particularly unsupervised. They frequently just let their children run out the front door without any parents present and then they run right over to my house. I really shouldn't hijack this thread with my own story I should probably start a new thread... Anyhow children without an adult present are capable of many things particularly if they haven't been taught to respect other people's property.

next time u see them, put down a line of rope of spray paint and tell them if i see you over this, im calling the cops and mommy and daddy will go to jail." :3

Funny thing is we have an official property line along our property, sure its a line of bricks, but it is very obvious. On the dark side, my friend's dad has silkies and frizzles too, or shall I say had...they were strangled too. All he has left is two ducks and a chicken.

Don't feel bad! I am glad you posted your story, many peoplr don't think of the humans as predators, but people are. People killing poultry is not as common as a fox or dog, but its there.
