Its sad he lost his chickens. I agree not necessarily a person did it. I had 2 chickens who lost their heads to a dog while inside what i thought was a secure coop. They stuck their heads out and dog....well anyway they died. Tons of feathers and blood around also because of the whole afterscene when a chicken loses its head. If we had not seen it happen we would never have believed it either. I would have been sure the mean old man behind us had done them in. I hope for his sake it is a predator and that his next hens will have much better luck. Poor kid. Its always hard to face these things when you own animals.
