Hah! Pretty cute. What breeds are the possible culprits? One of my RIR lays a teeny one every once in a while.

The egg is from a 3 year old leghorn. It has been really hot here, so I am thinking that was the cause. Haven't cracked it open yet.

The small egg probably is yokeless - it happens just like jelly eggs.

Yeah, the one we got was all white with some blood streaks. Isolated happening though, 1 out of 650 eggs.
I'd suggest opening this kind of egg over its own bowl so if it's icky it doesn't ruin whatever you're using it for.
