Someone, PLEASE HELP!!

I really hope the little bit makes it and there is still hope but I also have to warn you that there is no guarantee she will live. There is a saying I am sure you've heard that's never truer then with actual eggs. " Don't count your chickens before your eggs hatch." Be emotionally prepared to possibly lose the chick.

Ok everybody, i couldnt really see his beak so i started at the air sack and still couldnt find it, anyway i found it and he still has a couple of blood vessels, he isnt doing anything on his own, he is just opening and closing his mouth. I think he will live, if by the night time he still hasnt done anything on his own and there arent any blood vessels i will help him out all the way. I will post a pic later, i am going to bed

i think you mean you found the beak . if so she is now breathing air right? if so she needs several hours to adjust to breathing and to absorb the yolk sack.all you need do is keep the membrane moist.

once you do assist if you still need to, go really slow and any sign of blood, stop wrap in damp paper towel and back in the incubator for a couple of hours. always give opportunity for her to struggle herself a bit.

hope she makes it...

Thanks Esther, she started hatching on her own and was just to tired to finish so i assisted her a bit, she is now dried off and fluffy, she hatched around three hours ago and she cant really hold herself up. Her toes are curled, does that have anything to do with her not holding herself up, is there anyway i can help her?

i was worried about mine too as her toes curled in and i thought she might have splayed legs which were very weak for more like 8 hours. she is totally fine now. i don't have enough experience to advise really but they can perk up a lot in 24 hours. if it still looks bad they there ate threads about foot deformities.hopefully she will simply get stronger

Thanks you guys, i took a better look at her and i think she has spraddle leg, if i leave her for 24 hours is it going to be permenent, i want to be sure before i wrap them, she might just need some time.
