I remember not too long ago that someone said those of us living in the south didn't have temperature swings or extremes.

Here's our forecast for the next five days:

Today - it's already 65 and sunny
Friday - 60 and sunny
Saturday - 55 and sunny
Sunday - 35 and snow
Monday - 38 and snow

That may not be as extreme as it gets up north, but it's extreme enough for this southern gal.

Friday: 5 and cloudy
Saturday: 8 and sunny
Sunday: 8 and sunny
Monday: 10 and sunny
Tuesday: 3 and sunny
Wednesday: -1 and sunny

Looks like its gunna be an awesome snowmobiling week!

Good! I'll send you all the snow we get, so you can have even more fun snowmobiling!

I would love some "exciting" weather. This is ours:

today: 49 cloudy, low 39
Frid 48 rainy, low 37
Sat 42 rainy, low 34
Sun 41 cloudy, low 31

I think that is so boring! We did have temps in the 20's last week, but that basically did nothing but freeze the water buckets. It had been dry previous, so no ice or snow. So far we have had one day of snow, that was about a week and a half ago. It stayed for about 12 hours. I WANT SNOW! (It's so funny how we all want something other than what we have!

It's nuts! I live here because I don't like cold weather! So this is ours:

This Afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 62. Northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 39. West wind around 5 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 64. West wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 38. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 59. North wind around 5 mph.

Saturday Night: A 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39. East wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Sunday: Rain likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a high near 46. Northeast wind between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. (Yeah -- here we go again!)

Sunday Night: A chance of drizzle or freezing drizzle. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. North wind between 5 and 15 mph.

Monday: A chance of drizzle. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 48. North wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 46.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 25.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 44.

I'm starting to think Louisiana is NOT far enough south for me!

When I lived in Anchorage they used to announce on the local news the temperature change for flights arriving from Hawaii.
If memory serves the greatest temp change was 128*F
