Someone started boarding in the roof....

...when they weren't supposed to. Is this going to be sufficient for ventilation or should I remove this board? Picture on the left is the boarded in roof, picture on the right is the other end. Should I put a board on this end to help keep out snow?

Hmm I think it just depends on how many you have to house & if house is big & you have fewer chooks to house then pry might wanna seal up those drafts
 
Before the snow starts. Otherwise you could just put some kind of covering over it & still have good airflow as long as you still have an open door for them to get fresh/free airflow. Ik North winds can be pretty crazy sometimes!

Thank you for your replies. It's still 'open', I am adding hardware cloth tomorrow. I'm thinking this 'design' might work, while still providing lots of ventilation. We get lots of blowing snow. I think I'm gonna keep the board on, and add one to the other side as well. Maybe.
