Thank you!! Yes... am getting the nerve up to keep them
Out at night ... not there yet !!
Last night when I brought them in... they kinda looked upset that they had to come in!
So tonight they will stay out until like 10 or 11... lol

I was so nervous the first night my first 2 ducks, Peep and Nibbler, were outside. I think I didn’t sleep at all that night and kept going outside to check on them. But they were loving it and that made it easier

Wow I can’t thank out enough for saying that .. bc I kept feeling like -why is this so hard to keep so clean!!
I don’t stop!!
Lol ... I am sooooooo glad they spend all day in their run now... I am trying to get ramp that is easy for my one girl who just keeps having issues with her legs ..

Outside in their run ... I actually make mud puddles for them... since they love to play in it so much!! That won’t hurt them right ?

Also... do you guys let your ducks have the run all night ?
For 4 ducks they have an 8x6 Duck house that should be ok to sleep in and not need to be in the run, yes?

Haha !! That is nice !! Yes... we get so worked up by they love it !!
So they are in the duck house at night - and don’t have access to the run? I wasn’t t sure to do that or not... haha I think I just asked that before I saw you’re post ... lol

You have an amazing and beautiful duck nursery and run. How you ever got one photo of it that clean, I will never know. Your ducks are beautiful and very lucky!

I brooded my 6 ducklings in my kitchen in a wading pool. I loved it!! We were waiting for my husband to finish their house so they were pretty much full grown by the time we moved them out. I had been changing towels and cleaning that pool like 3-4 times a day by that point, even though they were also spending time outside in my yard. Yikes, it was such a mess, and seeing it in the morning when I got up was apocalyptic!

Here are a few. Yes, I loved my ducks when they were babies - I still adore them now. I would love to go back and relive their sweet babyhood. It was worth all the work. Just wish I could keep them happy and healthy - they have their issues and it's a bit of a burden just worrying about them and figuring out how to take care of them, but I sure do love them!
