Someone touched my golf balls!

So, I put golf balls in the nesting box and VOILA!, they were not in the same place this morning.
So, the question is: Were the chickens up all night playing golf? Or, is it possible that someone is practicing for when it is time for her to lay?

Are you sure someone did not gather eggs for you and get them too? I do that to DH sometimes

The balls are still there...and i am pretty sure there are no eggs yet...(((lurking silently toward nesting box , becoming aware of possible reptilian invasion!)))

The girls are getting ready for the PGA. The chickens are curious & move them around with their beaks. At first mine would sometimes knock them out of the boxes. And yes always watch out for snakes they like to play golf as well at least this one does. LOL
