Something coming out of vent (graphic pic)

Like, a lot of egg yolk (pic below). I'm thinking I'll give her another warm bath to relax her in case there is more to pass?

Definitely not a lash egg, which is good news.

A quick moment of humor- that egg wihte looks kinda like a little chick!

I'm not sure what caused the gunky appearance of what was the yolk sac- but I'd say she had one break inside of her. Another bath might help - if nothing else anything sticky around the vent should be soaked off.

Do you feed layer feed - and does she have a separate source of calcium available? (like oyster shells)

Do keep an eye out for her straining - if you have preparation H or hydrocortisone (no pain relief formulas, just "original), apply it to the vent area with your gloved finger. As mentioned in the previous post, straining can lead to a prolapse.

If it happens, cool clean water first. I have a trick to keep the majority of the hen dry while doing this (only if it becomes necessary due to prolapse) - I use an upside-down cookie sheet and I set it across my sink.

Chicken gets put on her side on the upside-down cookie sheet, then I position her so only her butt overhangs the cookie sheet into the sink. I hold the legs in one hand and use the other hand to guide the chicken/cookie sheet to the water stream while the cookie sheet supports most of her weight. Most of the water should flow right back into the sink.

Then you get just minimal wetting for a task that isn't soaking the bird.

OK- I'm off for the night. Good luck and keep up the good work!

Well that was a bit gross! Well done for sorting it out - I'm not looking forward to something like this happening :lau Good luck, I hope she is all sorted now!
Thanks so much for your help!!! She does get layer feed and I occasionally crush eggshells and give them back to them - I'll have to do this more often!
They should always have access to egg or oyster shells to be able to get what they need, I keep mine next to the waterer and feeder so they can find it when they want it.
