Something finally went broody on this farm!!

All these tales of mega-broodies ain't helping me guys!

Something interesting in the henhouse this morning - Not that I think it'll work because I've tried it before, but I took a bunch of golf balls and put them in the nestbox that one of my dark hens likes to use. She's my best layer. Sure enough she had left me an egg, but also she stacked the golfballs into a perfect pyramid. She must have gotten bored while waiting for her egg to arrive.

I wish I could send you some of mine ~ here are 3 ~ they are sitting on imaginary eggs! I have a total of 6. Three in one coop, 1 in another coop, 1 in the woods somewhere, and 1 under my next door neighbor's car that they don't drive, and one that just hatched out about a month ago. lol

You guys have that many broodies? Send some to grit and the rest to me. I really need a broody right now;my Hovabator is a wreck and my parents don't believe me.

I think I've seen this thread from you before Gritsar. Photos and a week or so of history might make me a believer. Photos of hatched chicks would be even better.

You know I'm really hoping it takes this time. How many eggs you setting?
