We let our chickens and ducks free range everyday and put them up at night. We havnt been able to for about a week now because we have 2 roosters in the remaining cages and we are dusting their coop for mites and havnt been able to move it to a different location. I went to feed them yesterday morning and they looked fine. I was going somewhere for a week so my mom was taking care of them. She said she went out to check on them and they weren't out there. She looked everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE! I told her let's await till the morning and hopefully they will all be back. So this morning I woke up and texted her right away! She called me. She said something got them. She said she went out this morning and got a better look at what happened. She saw a pile of feathers of one of our hens Little bit first cause she was the closest. She went out further into the woods and saw two other piles of black which means our other two hens Moon and Luna. She had also saw a pile of white duck feathers so our pekin was gone. She said she didn't see anymore so our rooster and two ducks are missing if not eaten. She also said she ran into our field chasing something with a shotgun and got a good look at it. It ran like a cat but was small like a dog with a brown back. She thinks it's a bobcat but I'm not completely sure. Do any of you know what could have done this? I'm just so devastated cause we just started over with more ducks and now they are gone along with the chickens.
