We had 6 mallard ducklings that were about a month old in a fenced in area with a small house (used to be the kids playhouse) in an area that is only about 25 feet from our house. We got up in the morning and found the door pushed open and all the ducks gone with some evidence that they were attacked by something. We did find one partially eaten carcass in back of the house. I can't imagine what kind of animal could get all 6 without making enough noise to wake us or our dogs up! Thanks for any input.
