Something gross

Have you heard of bird in a nest? Cut a hole in the bread and fry the egg inside...my daughter asked for one today and when I cracked one of the eggs, a developing chicken came out and fell in the hole.

lol ewww it was about a week and a half developed. I have a broody, and my son and his friends gathered eggs the other day. Although they didn't intend to take from that nest, they did. Apparently I didn't put ALL of the eggs back,,,
That was a real bird in a nest! poor chickie ugh

True! A friend of mine doesn't even want a rooster because he doesn't like the idea of eating fertilized eggs. When I told him today of my egg issue, he was so grossed out and said, that is why I don't want a rooster! lol He didn't even want me to talk about it!

Ewww, yuck, and all that. I love to watch my neighbors roos with tbe ladies but my girls will be spinster sisters.
