Something happened to drakes eye!

I went out to see my ducks as I always do and found my drakes eye like this!!

Looks like something got in it, or maybe he poked it on something.

Here’s some better pictures. I think he is blind in that eye now.

I think I see discharge in the eye. He very well could be blind, but if you could flush it first then take more pictures it would help determine if it is or not.

Try flushing it with some saline, or eyewash then performing what's called a menace reflex. With your hand, gently move it towards the birds eye, there should be some sort blink reflex after doing so. If there isn't, there's a good change the bird is blind in that eye. Regardless, if the eye is blind or not, for now, I would suggest applying Terramycin to the eye.

Judging just from the picture, it doesn't look like he'll be able to see from that eye.
