Something is getting in the run.....but how

I ran 3 hot wires one down low for diggers, one at about 12" for sniffers and one up close to the top of my fence for climbers. The low wire gets tested the most. I can tell because the insulators for the gates are plastic and get moved when something touches the wire and jumps back. I also have live traps out year round for any raccoons or opossums that think they might want to try to live in my area. The recommendation from my state is if you trap them you should kill them and not relocate.

My neighbor used to think free ranging was the way to go but I'd bet she has lost over 75 chickens in the last couple of years. She finally put up a fence and ran a hot wire around it.

Sorry for your losses, devastating once the buggers find a way in.
Post some pics of your coop and run for some suggestions on what could be improved.
