Something is wrong with my duck

Well good to know, I don't think you give t to them straight I think you add it to her water, her name is netti, it's on hear so I trusted it , it's the ultimate food to feed your ducks, I'm not sure how to paste and navigate, so you have to look it up if you want

Just because you read something it does not always mean its right...I learned this from an Old Lady who has raised many Ducks and Chickens..Yes, your right it gets mixed in water..I have never used it with Chickens or my Ducks...

I went back to read it, it's one tablespoon of raw Apple cider vinegar to a gallon of water, perks them up, I have never done it but I do follow her feeding and she is pretty dead on, I on my own just started giving my ducks oregano water at night only, it's supposed to be an antibiotic, not straight oregano water I mix it with reg water 1/2 and 1/2

Your right, I was just looking at what to try next for my ducks to eat because I like to give them a variety of choices, and happen too see that and thought I share, I am not claiming I know anything, I'm knew at this and want to do best for my babies, and I love this site for all the information I get

Yes ACV is considered a tonic for our birds and for us. I don't think I have read it helps with leg issues though. 1 Tab to a gal of fresh water

Could be a niacin deficiency especially with Pekin they grow super fast since they were developed for food and to be slaughtered at 10-12 weeks. And could you have the Jumbo which are even larger than the Reg Pekin, I'd start with some Nutritional yeast over their feed. or Brewers yeast 1 Tab per cup of feed. sure can't hurt to try it.

She maybe getting ready to lay at 18 weeks old so I'd begin to offer some form of calcium to their diet, Oyster shell is what most of us use and put it out separate from feed they will use it as needed.

Maybe even add a poultry vitamin for a while and see if that helps along with the niacin supplement. But usually if one goes lame it's a nutritional issue if their isn't an injury.
