Something is wrong with my Pekin hen

She feels her feel and legs. I can very lightly touch her foot and she'll jerk her leg. She is moving her feet and legs. She will swim, she just won't put her feet under her and walk.
That's sad...Non of us are Vets so can only guess as to what is really going on...I think Deficancy is a possibility..
A Vet should see her...

I agree with @chickens really. I’ve seen in my own birds how they won’t eat their feed when I give them too many treats or other options that taste better, but aren’t as nutritious.

Do you have a tractor supply or feed store near you? I would try to find liquid poultry vitamins. And put some in her water so she doesn’t have a choice but to drink it. A lot of BYCers with Pekins have found putting flush free niacin in their water has helped. If it is a vitamin deficiency, (which is one of the most common issues in Pekins due to their size) it will take several days to see improvement.

I bought this at our tractor supply for our Pekin yesterday. Niacinamide is the same thing as niacin.

I actually have this. I've never used it for the ducks tho. Any idea on the dosage.? I'm still waiting on the vet to call me back. Its Saturday and apparently ducks aren't on his list of emergencies. I've called a few other vets but it being Saturday is not working in my favor :hmm

Metzers says they need to ingest 10mg of niacin a day. But that you wont hurt them if you give them more. So even if the niacin isn’t the problem, it won’t hurt her in the slightest. I’m not comfortable giving the ducks injections so I pull a small amount out and give it to them orally..... 0.1mL is 10mg for the bottle I posted above. That’s assuming they swallow 100% of it.
