Something lodged under eyelid?

Hi chicken experts, I’d appreciate your advice about what to do for my poor chicken! She seems to have gotten something lodged between her eye and eyelid: I uploaded a short video of what I’m seeing. It looks to me like a foxtail or maybe even a feather, plus some pus around it? I wrapped her up with the intention of gently extracting it with clean tweezers, thinking it was small and straightforward, but then saw what’s going on under her eyelid and am not so sure now. Trouble is I’ve had a really difficult time finding a local vet that sees chickens. Has anyone encountered something like this before, and if so, how did you resolve it? Thank you in advance!!

Nevermind!! After writing the above I saw this suggested thread and it was exactly what I needed. I was able to pull it out and I’m sure she’s already feeling much better! Thank you Rusty for the detailed description of your process and to everyone who replied so helpfully to your post.
