The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

It's a fearful thing to fall into the hand of a living God.

Fear God and keep his commandments.

We should have an actual fear of the Lord. He is a consuming fire. He is the one who wins at the end of time and throws Satan in hell. He is the one who is going to judge us for every single thing we have done in our life. To have an actual fear of God is a good thing.
Of course he is a God of love, but He is also a God of judgment.
