I have two 4wk old white leghorns. I have only had them since Sat and they have grown so much. I have them in a large wire dog crate in the basement. The one has started to roost on the top of the water jug. What else can I put in there for the other chick to roost on? My coop will not be ready for a couple of weeks. I am also going to be getting six more chicks next week, 2 RIDs, 2 Ameraucanas, and 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes. They will only be a couple of days old. I plan on putting them in a large rubber made storage bin. When they be old enough to be with the older ones outside?
