If I talk about teachers and you are one... I'm probably not referring to you specifically so please dont slam me in a post.

If I post about farmers and you are one...I am probably generalizing so please dont get defensive.

If I rant about Mother-In-Laws and you are one...I am relying on my life experience.

If I share my thoughts on religion and you arent religious...I dont want to be made to feel bad for sharing my thoughts.


If you have another perspective....share it with me and help me see the other side. Maybe I will agree and maybe I wont but dont pass up the opportunity to teach someone something knew about your passion, about what drives you and about who you are.

Great advice!! When I get in a tizzy over something that happened, I talk to a friend of mine that helps me see the 'other' side of the issue. I may not always agree but I understand it better. Having different opinions/beliefs is what makes this world an even more interesting place. Otherwise, it would be boring.

For instance, while I rarely let things that happen here ruffle me, the words that bring me back to reality are
