Something tried to dig under the coop!

I came out this morning to a little whole under my coop door.

I think my design thwarted it. I placed landscape fabric, 2 layers of chicken wire, gravel, and sand plus a littering of my build scraps (bent nails and jagged bits of steel) under the chicken coop (around the edges) to deter things from digging in. I can imagine something digging, finding all the reinforcements and getting discouraged.

Is the wire buried?

well on the exposed exterior I have hardware fabric screwed into the outside of the coop. On the inside, under sand and rock I have 2 layers of chicken wire and hardware fabric.

That should thwart just about anything except a bear, I would think- are you going to try to trap whatever did it?
