Something You Should Always Carry With You

Under "Emergency Number" I ALWAYS write "911".

You can get a line sawn into the backside of any ring, to make it so the ring can be popped off, in the event of swelling. You can even do it yourself :) remove the ring, not saw the line! In the event that I have broken fingers, I immediately pull off the ring! It's only happened once, but I got it off in plenty of time. As in, before I looked to see how my fingers looked. Out of six broken fingers (not all at once) only one had a ring.

Since they had hit the back of my hand, I figured the worst and was not disappointed, at all. Horrifying. One girl was audibly gagging while I set them. BTW, I recommend having a doctor do it. Some of my home remedies still hurt, 20+ years later. :)

wouldn't do any good. the can ask anything they want to and go as slow as they want(don't get me started on this rant). She was in pain her life wasn't in danger. They can ask anything they want. Its best to just answer and be done with it. You wouldn't have a malpractice lawsuit. at best it would be neglect.

Being a person that has gone the ER its ridiculous what you have to go through. I love people that call and think an ambulance gets them seen sooner. New flash you will do the paperwork on my stretcher vs a nice comfy chair if you call me. I wont get you seen any sooner but i will charge you 6oo$ for the trip.

anywho. sorry for your wife. broken anything sucks.

In my concealed carry class, we were taught to call 911, give the basics (I am here, wearing this, I just [fill in the blank], send a squad car/ambulance/fire truck to this location) then put the phone down or hang up. Otherwise the operator will spend the next five minutes letting the bad guy get away or die of exsanguination. It's ridiculous how many questions they will ask before bothering to roll a car/ambulance.
