Something you wish had been invented in chicken keeping.

Because I'm too small to do the work effectively, because I have arthritis in my wrists, and because he's much better at framing than I am.

If we needed tile work done or had to mud drywall that would be my job, but we each have our specialties. He doesn't make me do large-scale carpentry, I don't ask him to fiddle with tile. :D

Sorry, just the pain is reason enough to ask of course.

I asked because sometimes I get annoyed about woman who accuse their husbands not to do the handyman kind a things they want him to do. There even is a tv show here called ‘help my husband is a handyman’ where you can accuse you’re husband of being lazy. Basic problem is that the woman/family live in a house that is not ready to live in properly (often stripped and not rebuild) for a long time. They never ask the women why she doesn’t try to do the work herself. :he

It exists. Years ago a show breeder told me he uses Frontline Spray for Puppies and Kittens. For a bantam one spray under each wing and one on the vent every few months.

This is poisonous ☠ and not to be used for chickens (consumption wise).

edited: Frontline has a poison (fipronil) that is forbidden in EU to use on chickens because the eggs and the meat get poisoned too.

All I want is for somebody to invent an actual, real, effective, crow-stopping device. Not some choker that MAY "reduce the volume". No, something to just stop all crowing altogether, forever. So many roosters would get to actually live out their lives if such a thing existed...
YES A safe and rooster-friendly crow stopper that diminishes the sound would be great. :love

I want a person that will clean the coop, let the chickens into the run in the morning, put them in at night, refill their waterer, and clean their poop board. Or a robot, actually a robot might be easier to get.

I want a robot, or person, that will do all the chicken chores. Has that been invented yet? I would pay top dollar, my lazy bum is impossible to get out of bed in the morning, and that’s coming from me. And I want them to buy more chickens, and build a bigger coop and run for those new chickens.

That is what I want. A very fancy robot.
I have a ‘chicken guard’ above a vertical sliding pop door, to let the chickens out every morning after sunrise. It closes if the chickens have roosted and its getting dark.

Oh yes! I can't stand women who play incompetent as a tool for controlling people.

I can use table-mounted tools, but can't handle any but the smallest hand-held power tools.

I would like an egg-sexer. That way I could give my broodies only female fertilized eggs and eat the male eggs. And I won’t have a problem with too many cockerels I have to give away (I don’t kill or eat chickens) .

It would be nice for less chick suffering in the chicken industry too. I know they are researching things like that at the university in Wageningen for the professional hatcheries. The weight and food has influence on the ratio.

Don't worry, I've had plenty of guys tell me how I "should be doing it"
I just tell them how I'm going to do it, so it gets done.
