One of my roosters has be acting funny. He has been sitting with his head in a corner for the past week. Yesterday my other roosters attacked him to the point he laid helplessly on the ground. I isolated him overnight, but within a couple of hours this morning he was attacked again. I examined him again and found that the top of his breast-bone was exposed with no skin on it, as well as having been pecked severely.
His eyes are clear and I don't see signs of anything else.
They have a large run, but at present I have too many roosters to chickens 6 R to 8 hens. This will change soon.
If I need to put him down, what is the easiest and most humane way to do it?
