We got up this morning to find one of our roosters laying in the middle of the coop not moving. When we tried to pick him up to put him into a box he started flopping around like crazy. His face is all bloody and he's having a lot of trouble holding his head up. He's acting like his wing is broken (we aren't sure how to tell). If anyone has any advice, please share! Thanks!

It sounds like he either fell off a perch and hurt himself, or was attacked by a predator.
If you have another rooster, he may have gotten in a bad fight with him.
As long as he can hold his head up at all, he hopefully hasn't broken his neck. You need to separate him, and try to clean up his face a bit to see where the blood is actually coming from.

I know they were locked up tight last night. So either they got into a fight early this morning or he fell if the roost and the others started pecking at him.

We have him in the house and it looks like the bleeding is mostly coming from the top of his head, behind his comb. I'm not really sure what to do for him.

Hold gentle pressure on his comb wound for about 3 minutes to help it clot, then put some blood stop powder, flour, or corn starch on it. He may have a head injury that is neurological causing symptoms of wry neck.Let him rest, offer him some water with vitamins and electrolytes in it, and give him some chopped scrambled egg, canned tuna, or some dry cat food to help his appetite. As far as his wing goes, you can leave it alone for now, and then try to do a figure 8 wrap around it. Look him over for any cuts or wounds, and clean them , then apply some plain Triple Antibiotic Ointment or Vetericyn on them. Here is a good link on wrapping a broken wing: http://www.starlingtalk.com/fractures.htm

Thank you but we couldn't save him.

He seemed to be doing better for a bit but then his face got all purple and he started flopping around again. I think he just stopped breathing. :( Poor guy.
