Somethings wrong...

My chick was recovering from wry neck but then she went missing for a night and she came back in the morning... she was soaked. But lately her wry neck had completely healed! But here's the problem... she still can't stand or even sit up right! My friend thinks she has vertigo, but I'm not sure... Are there any other diseases in chickens that cause them to do that??? And is there any cure or medicine that can help her! If she doesn't live i'll only have one hen left!!! Please help me! She's a 3 month old Brahma.

How did she disappear overnight when she can't sit up or stand? Did she injure her head? Are you treating with vitamins B, E, and selenium?

Before she got lost for the night, she could stand and do other normal chicken stuff. And I don't have the money for the vitamins... Well I bet I have the money, just my parents won't buy it... I think she might die tonight.

I'm so so sorry for your situation! That's just sad. please tell your parents I've had two severe cases of wry neck in my flock this past month and one recovered 100% within 3 weeks my second case is approaching week 3 and she is almost recovered to 100% now. she is still undergoing her treatment but I'm guessing she should be 100% very soon! With some patience and vitamins this can be cured to bring the bird back to 100%! The treatment that is successful for my birds is vitamin E capsules cost 5 dollars selenium capsules cost 5 dollars polyvisol liquid children's vitamin without iron 7 dollars for a total cost of 17 dollars for this treatment. I asso gave b vitamin in the water and predinsone. Most don't use the predinsone and have been successful with only the vitamins. If you can talk to your parents and let them know treatment is only around 17 dollars hopefully they will come around and help save your bird! I really hope this helps! Let your parents know treatment does work and there is hope. I so wish I could help you! Maybe after talking to your parents they will be more willing to help? Thanks! My mom said that if I clean my room she'll buy me everything I need! I think my dad went crazy though... He said that if she doesn't get better, he'll snap her neck!! I know he wants to put her out of her misery but that's just cruel! So I just told him "over my dead body!" And that shut him up! But I really hope my chick will be ok, or poor Otisette (my only mobil hen) will be surrounded by roosters! But if my other chick has to be put down it will have to be done by a vet, not my dad...

Oh honey I'm so happy your parents will help her! Now it takes around three weeks for them to heal from this! Both my birds had it so bad they couldn't walk or feed themselves. One was dragging her head between her legs! Now age is 100% normal! I'm so
sorry snout your dads cruel remarks! My dad was like that too! Hopefully you can get her cured so he won't do that to her! You have to have a bit of patience when treating her! I pray everything works out well.h

I really hope it's not too late for her! She's been living in my house for a while... I think it's more than wry neck though. She might be in shock from staying outside for 1 night (awhile ago she could walk and she jumped out of her pen) I have to help her get water too. My dad, mom, and sister won't get her a drink, do it's only me who cares for her :/ and thank you you for all the help
