These were hatched by a friend of mine over the weekend. The blacks ones are project birds, The Bantams are Sebrights, the yellow with a bit of grey is a Columbian Wyandotte.

Thanks! I am thinking the Striped one may be one of the Project birds gone awry..... who knows

Genetically the project ones should be black, but nature is funny you never know how it might work out

Our little americauna's have stripes like that...but I can't tell if yours have those puffy cheeks

It does not have puffy cheeks. It is likely taking after it's Speckled Sussex daddy and one of my project birds

Welsummer?

edited to say: Sorry...since I really don't know what project birds are, I just thought it looked like a Welsummer. Btw, I did read the title, but obviously misunderstood exactly what you meant by "hatching your own" since you said a friend hatched them for you and wondered if perhaps an egg that was not yours got in with yours. Again, sorry.
