Sometimes I like the National Weather Service

So here I am. Watching TV. It's been gloomy and cloudy all day long. We've had flash floods for about a week. Not a problem because I enjoy driving in puddles and wearing my galoshes. Anyways, back to it, so the national weather service comes on and interrupts my movie to tell me of a coming flash flood

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLASH FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING
IN STREAMS...ROADS AND LOW LYING AREAS. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND NOW.

The warning sounded a little redundant..

It made me giggle​

We are being warned about getting SNOW here in Phoenix.

I've seen snowflakes fall in Phoenix only once since I've lived here... and they didn't stick.

I drove across northern Arizona, through Flagstaff, last year around April and it snowed halfway through the state! Not much of it was sticking but it certainly was snowing.

Yeah, up around flagstaff it snows ALOT. Cold too. Really suprised me the first time I was there. Wasn't anything like it looked in the old western movies!

Our low was predicted to be anywhere from 11-15 degrees. This morning, it's SIX.
