Somewhat new to BYC

Hi everyone, after visiting this site for over a year and a half, I feel obligated to join. My 16 hen mixed flock consists of Barred Plymouth Rocks, Rhode Island Reds and Golden Comets. I am their Shepherd as I feel that God has brought these girls into my life to heal me. And for that I am grateful as they are very special to me. Because of this site, I'm constantly learning how to care for my hens. I urge people to check out this site BEFORE purchasing chicks. I wish I had learned of this site before I took on the responsibility to care for chickens.
