I'll be doing my best to post a photograph every day this year as a kind of "journal".
I've put the thread in this forum as it will likely involve ALL my animals and/or other random things in my life. Chances are I will miss days and I am known for having poor commitment to projects but let's wing it

If I can use this to improve my photography overtime then that's a massive bonus

A cactus flower just beginning to open with the sun setting on the first day of this year There will be a handful of blooms for me to try and catch in the morning before work!

Love the night blooming cactus!

Had one in a yard years ago, always enjoyed watching the bees swarming it at sunrise to get what they could before the blooms closed up.

Friday 2/1/2026 (Yes, I will be doing my dates this way )
I took a lot of interesting photos at work today but they're not suitable for this at all
So instead, today's work buddy! My foster kitten who I take with me when I can because it's probably far more interesting for him to get out for the day and see animals and people coming and going, than stay at home without me. He's a very good driving companion.

It's hard for ME to catch them sometimes! I've been trying to catch my pink ones but because I had work today I only got to the see the half open blooms
