Jay fang hissed as a ginger tom lashed out and srtched her cheek. Jayfang lept and clawed his eye. He yowled in pain and backed away hissing and shaking his head

jay fang heard lemon berry yowl and turned to see her under a pair of shadow clan cats. she scratched one of them and clawed at his ears. he yowled and jay fang felt a thrill of satisfation. she turned on the second one hissing. the other one, a silver she cat, fattened her ears and lashed out. Jayfang ducked and nipped the tendon on one of her back legs

Suddenly the paw around her muzzle was gone and Lemonberry staggered to her feet. She leaped at the tom and he hissed into her ear, "I don't want to hurt you." She stopped for a second, stunned.

He paced around her and she shifted on her paws, then, to her surprise, a laugh bubbled up inside her, "if you didn't want to hurt me, why attack me in the first place?"
"I'm loyal to my clan." He replied.
"so am i." she growled, the laughter gone in her voice.
"meet me here tonight." he whispered.
she froze, she couldn't do this.
"see you tonight." he said and disappeared into the hissing throng of cats.
Lemonberry lashed her tail, she couldn't meet a Shadow Clan cat at the border. 'I'm loyal to my clan.' his words echoed in her mind, quickly followed by, 'see you tonight.' she shook her head. I'm loyal to my clan too, but... she shook her head and leaped at a Shadow Clan cat creeping up on another Wind Clan cat.

Lemonberry attacked the Shadow Clan warrior and scratched him across the muzzle, He jerked his head away, hissing, "SClan Kitty, some help me!" the Shadow Clan cat called. SClan kitty bounded over and cast an apologetic look at Lemonberry before jumping at her, "have you decided to meet me?" he hissed into her ear.
