(Yup!) "Is it time?" hissed Flickertail, lashing her tail. "I just want to win this battle. Maybe then Sprucestar will give me more power as deputy," she spat, eyeing Sprucestar with resentment.

 

[Alyssa-Bee]

The warrior slipped out of camp, his blue tail disappearing behind a large pine.

Flickertail followed him, beckoning the other warriors to follow her.

Soon the Shadowclan cat appeared beside Sprucestar. The others trailing behind.

"Are they there?" Sprucestar asked quietly, watching Dirtpaw from the corner of his eye.
The blue warrior nodded, silently.
"Good." The leader whispered back.

Dirtpaw's pelt prickled. Something was off. She didn't like the glances Sprucestar kept sending her, or the tense looks of the other ShadowClan warriors.

She smelled WindClan before she saw them. No other cats had noticed yet. She ran for the other patrol, dodging ferns and roots.

A couple ShadowClan cats tried to stop her, but she slipped through their paws. She crashed into Silvermoon and they both landed in a tangled mess on the ground. I'm safe!

Sparrowfur was getting hungrier. "Windwhisker? Can I get some fresh kill?" She asked the air.
"Dirtpaw?"

 

[Alyssa-Bee]

"Supid, apprentice! Get back here!" Sprucestar yowled after Dirtpaw. "I thought you wanted to go home!"

Finally noticing Silvermoon he fell quiet. "Oh, hello. We were just taking
your stu- apprentice back to camp." Stupid, STUPID, Windclan!

"Thank you, but we can do it well enough ourselves." Umberstar said curtly as he glared at the ShadowClan leader. The air seemed to crackle with tension, just the slightest movement would start a fight.
