I read a book - can't remember the name or author (some european I had not previously heard of - a habit of mine to grab random books to try occasionally) - it was a great mystery - then in the last 6 pages after the mystery was solved, the author killed off 75% of the Characters - it was so unnecessary and sick - I dumped that book in the bin - something I have never done before or since.
