I really like the sound of the Sitar. Ravi Shankar is is probably the BEST KNOWN. He recently parted to the other side. His daughter is carrying his music legend. I have a few of his CD's Most of the melodies are quite long. Just recently found out he played at Woodstock.(1969) First is that one and second is one he did with daughter in 97.

I suppose most everyone knows of Eric Clapton and the song he released while with Derek and the Dominoes called "Layla". This was in 71. In 92 Eric did an unplugged acoustic version of the song that won a Grammy that year. I like both versions but this one appeals to the older me

I do remember this of course. It has SPECIAL MEANING to me as well. It was the favorite song of my BFF that I lost in 1975.

This is Echo Canyon by a different artist than I usually listen. Echo Canyon by John Huling. I have the CD. Just cant find it on Youtube.
I have 4 John Huling CD's
