The wolf is my favorite animal. I have sooooo much wolf stuff. Here is just one fav piece. DD found it for me and gifted.

I was at Farm and Fleet and when I passed the feed isle, just cold not pass without taking this pix.

Sami Yoiks is a style of music of the Indigenous Scandinavian people of the far north. It is similar to the Native American chants. Just like my above posting. I do have one CD but it is not as beautiful sounding as this melody I found in my searches. This music is scarce and kind of hard to find. It is by Inga Juuso My CD is not included on Youtube at this time.

And here is another BEAUTIFUL song by a different performer of the same Genre.

I need to track down a CD by her. None on Amazon right now or Ebay. I don't want one at a price of an arm and a leg right now.

I think I could listen to Circle Dance all day... thanks for bringing us some great music. I would have never found it on my own. Love wolves too.

Once I started listening to your suggestions I began to get some nice recommendations from Youtube ... have you seen C. Nakai's concert at the Library of Congress. He speaks about himself and the music and performs.

I of course seen this video. Youtube is GREAT.
I also did see him in concert at Elgin Community College , in Elgin IL. About 5 years ago or so. My son got the tickets, and we were joined by his friend Ignacio. He is my friend as well, but son and Ignacio are friends from college.(same age) Ignacio is the one that I inspired to playing the flute. I gifted him my first made flute. He is pretty good flute player now.

Los Lobos has been around for a long time. First time I hear this song.

I have been hearing this one for ever. Who hasn't,,, I have this as part of a Various Artists CD. This vid comes with lyrics also.
