Its 2 layers over wooden slats, then theres a layer of 2" polysterene and then plywood internal lining! Warm and dry!

Then the polycarbonate panels on the top of the run are off someones old outhouse thing and were being thrown away so i recycled them! hence they are a bit warped and clouded in parts... but they do the job!

i love the little "porch" over the pop door, so they can look out and check out the weather before going out. Think I'll go do something like that on my coop. Great job, and it looks as though you have space to expand when chicken math kicks in!

That is amazing! You people that can build things make me so jealous. I was over the moon when I nailed 4 pieces of wood together to create a raised bed for my strawberries. That's about as far as my carpentry skills take me. That's why I have a plastic Eglu coop. Your coop rocks!
