I say green. My chickens are drawn to red but they dive on anything green.

My 3 hens hesitate with something new.Noticed that with the green kale yesterday.I remember they did it with cottage cheese till one brave soul took a peck.I have given some warmed up frozen veggies like peas and corn.So as of now they go for white,green,and yellow. Mealworms are light brown,but it could be more the wiggle than the color.And that reminds me of scrambled eggs.They were average when it came to eating the tomato.

feeders water-ers and the like have been offered mainly in red for decades. Maybe there is a reason for this. But again, as Conch republic pointed out, we really do not know what they see. Tomatoes may have a spectrum that we can't see. I do know that they will knock you down and take your watermelon.
I say red.

I'm going with green. My girls love anything green. They are not crazy about tomatoes or strawberries, but they do love lettuce, kale, broccoli, etc.
