Hello from the southern edge of the Poconos in PA. My husband & I got a lot of satisfaction from building our coop by hand soon after "quarantine" hit. A short time later, we filled it with 4 chickens. We ended up with 3 roosters! (look for my rehoming post, lol) We are keeping 1 rooster & just adopted 2 new baby chicks to start growing into our family. Too early for eggs still, but it's been a lot of fun so far. The rooster we'll be keeping (Basil) & our older hen (Clover) are both Cuckoo Marans. The 2 roosters we're looking to rehome are Splash Laced Red Wyandottes ("Edelweiss" & "Fern"). And our 2 new babies are a Cinnamon Queen (Hyacinth) & a Wyandotte (Clementine).
