Crossing our fingers...but not counting our chickens before they hatch...got confirmation today that 3 day old Speckled Sussex will be "in the mail" on 10 September!

We got word that our 3 chicks shipped today. Our "old school" brooder is ready. So excited!

Also working on the coop, for later. Will be placed in a 5 x 10 dog run. We have many predators here so must make it secure.
